50th Birthday: Paul Ekpo is A Blessing to Akwa Ibom State -Gov. Emmanuel | Ibomplaza News

……The State chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Obong Paul Ekpo has been described as a blessing to Akwa Ibom people by the state Governor, His Excellency, Deacon Udom Emmanuel. The state Governor who spoke through his deputy, Mr. Moses Ekpo, at the 50th birthday anniversary thanksgiving service of Obong Ekpo described the state chairman as one who has been a blessing not only to Him, but to the entire state and beyond. He extolled Obong Ekpo as “a Faithful, selfless and loyal party man” who has been an instrument to the success of many persons in the state. He recalled the major role played by Obong Paul Ekpo towards his re-election. He further thanked the family of the state chairman and the people of Nkana in Etinan for raising and giving a man of such nature to Akwa Ibom.

Obong Paul Ekpo during the service thanked God for Faithfulness and grace to him and his family. He commended Gov. Udom Emmanuel, state executive members of PDP and everyone who have over the years given him the necessary cooperation and support to be where he is today. He appreciated the group of worshippers for turning up to thank God with him.

The event which was hosted at the Living Faith Church, Nkana, Iman South, Etinan LGA had in attendance the First Lady of the State, Her Excellency, Dr (Mrs) Martha Emmanuel, the Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo; Speaker of the Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey and wife, Federal Lawmakers, Members of the Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly, PDP National Legal adviser, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem and wife; Deputy state chairman of the party, Mr Sunyiekere Inokon and state exco members of the party, Dean of commissioners and commissioner for women affairs, Dr Glory Edet and other state Executive council members; Head of service, Elder Effiong Essien, Local Government Chairmen, clergies and other eminent persons within and outside the state.

The event featured prayers for the celebrant, His family and the state, words of edification, song ministration and praises to God.
