AKHA Confirms Appointments of Persons into Board and Commissions
…….Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has confirmed and ratified the appointments of Persons into Boards and Commissions in the State.
Boards and commissions with new appointees are: Local Government Service Commission, Law Reforms Commission and Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC).
The House made the confirmations during her plenary session of Thursday, October 17th, 2019 following the message sent to House through the Speaker, seeking the ratification and confirmation of his nominees into Boards and Commissions in the State.
The new appointees are as follows:

Mrs. Idara Ephraim Akpan, Member

LAW REFORMS COMMISSION
Barr. Imowo Okpokpo, Member
AKWA IBOM STATE INDEPENDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSION (AKISIEC)
Ufot Sunday Akpan, Member
Ekpuk Eshiet, Member
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey has directed the Clerk of the House, Mrs. Mandu Umoren to communicate the position of the House to the Governor and other relevant quarters.
