AKWA IBOM ASSEMBLY PASSESS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON FRANK ARCHIBONG | Ibomplaza News

The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly have passed a vote of confidence on the Commissioner of Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, for his eloquence and elaborate presentation of his Ministry’s 2021 budget.

The Chairman, Committee on Finance and Apropriations/member representing Ikot Abasi/Eastern Obolo State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh, made the remarks on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, when Frank Archibong appeared before the Finance and Appropriation Commmitee to defend his Ministry’s 2021 budget.

Odudoh, who lauded the feats of Frank Archibong for displaying competency and mastery irrespective of his short duration on the saddle as Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, noted that he was not surprised at the articulate approach through which the Commissioner detailed the projected implementation plan of the 2021 budget for the Ministry of local government and Chieftaincy Affairs “As chairman of Finance and Appropriations Committee, let me on behalf of my committee members expressed our delight and commend you for your excellent presentation. Because we are impressed with your record; we hereby pass a vote of confidence on you because you are squarely competent” Odudoh said.

In his determination to deliver efficiently, the Commissioner also requested for minor adjustment in the 2021 budget proposal to accommodate furnishing of the Akwa Ibom State Council of Chiefs Chambers recently commissioned by governor Udom Emmanuel.

Others in the entourage of the commissioner included; Director of Admin/ acting Permanent Secretary, Mr. Edet Etukudoh, Secretary State Council of Chiefs, Mr. Emmanuel Umontuen, Accountant, Mr. Mark Joshua Akpan, Director of Planning, Rating and Statistics, Mr. Patrick Ikotidem, Director of Inspectoriate, Mrs. Ime .G. Akpan, Rating and Valuation, Mrs. Victoria .G. Brown, Head, Local government, Mr Enobong U. Paul and Mr. Tommey Enodien.
