GOV. EMMANUEL COMMISSIONS NEW SECRETARIAT COMPLEX FOR UCCDA | Ibomplaza News

His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel has inaugurated the permanent office complex of the Uyo Capital City Development Authority at Atan Offot, Uyo Local Government Area.

Governor Emmanuel in his remarks commended Prince Enobong Uwah’s led UCCDA for showing capacity, dedication and commitment to His Excellency’s development drive for the capital city. In his words – “…for a job well done is for more jobs to be done. For the fact that you have done well as a team, means that you have so much to be done”.

Governor Emmanuel specially thanked Prince Uwah for initiating and completing the office accommodation, which he noted, will save cost paid on rent.

He further tasked the Agency on stepping up the game in controlling development within the capital City for a better developed and clean City.

In his speech, the Executive Chairman of Uyo Capital City Development Authority, Otuekong Prince Enobong Uwah expressed his appreciation to the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for his vision and support to the Agency to deliver on its mandate.

Prince Uwah also hinted and solicited Governor Emmanuel’s support on UCCDA’s move to digitize operations to meet global standard.

Prince Uwah further thanked Staff of UCCDA for commitment to service, while acknowledging the Atan Offot community for giving a conducive environment for the development of the area.

The Member Representing Uyo State Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Anietie Eka in his goodwill message, described the new office complex as one of the landmark achievements of Governor Udom Emmanuel’ s led administration.

Speaking on behalf of the host Community, the Village Head of Atan Offot, Eteidung Idongesit Alfred Ekong applauded Governor Emmanuel for bringing more development to the area and pledged the continued support of his people to the Governor to succeed.
