IN THE NEWS: All Projects Executed by Udom Pass through Due Process – Ufot Ebong
…………The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process, Elder Ufot Ebong has revealed that all projects embarked upon by the current administration in Akwa Ibom State always pass through due process.
The Governor’s Aide stated this recently while addressing newsmen in Uyo described Governor Udom Emmanuel as a man of high taste for quality projects, pointing that the State Chief Executive pays attention to details of all government projects, hence, such projects also have strict technical analysis.
“In this State, due process is a culture, the Governor is so serious about it that he ensures all government dealings are done in accordance with due process.
“You see, people spend a lots of money by not following due process. Due process is helping the State Government get best value for money spent. There is no road constructed by Governor Udom Emmanuel that has not passed through due process and technical analysis. I am the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process but I tell you, the road passing through my family compound has not been made because it doesn’t pass through that economic threshold” he said.
The benefits of following due process in its programs and policies, Elder Ebong said has reduced wastage of public funds and further lauded the quality of projects executed by Governor Emmanuel.
Speaking further, Ebong described Governor Emmanuel as a Focus and committed leader, adding that the former Zenith Bank Manager has carefully ensured that the common wealth of the State is used for the common good of all citizens.
