……………..This is the Greenwell Fertilizer Blending Plant in Oku Abak, Abak LGA of Akwa Ibom State brought in by the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration through PPP arrangement.
The multi-fertilizer plant with an annual production capacity of 400,000 metric tons, the highest in Nigeria is capable of producing on demand, any kind of fertilizer to suit soil type and crop being cultivated. At the moment, the plant is blending 3 high in demand types of fertizer viz: 20:10:10 ; 12:12:17 +2mgo and 15:15:15 for distribution and supply within and outside the state.
With the Fertilizer Blending plant operating in the state, limitless opportunities have been opened to Akwa Ibom populace including job creation, wealth creation and other value chain opportunities…
