WHO BECOMES MISS AKWA IBOM 2017 TODAY?
…………..Miss Akwa Ibom is a Beauty Pageant to select an Ambassador for Akwa Ibom State. The event, tagged NDOKO AKWA IBOM is the 6th event and the last in the Orange September series organized by the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Culture and Tourism to celebrate Akwa Ibom State at 30.
Ndoko Akwa Ibom Pageant (Miss Akwa Ibom 2017), is scheduled to hold today, Friday, 22nd September 2017, at the prestigious Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo by 5pm. This highly-anticipated and most-celebrated pageant will feature 31 elegant female contestants who will compete tonight in the battle of wits, beauty and poise. The winner will wear the converted Ndoko Akwa Ibom (Miss Akwa Ibom) crown and drive home the star prize of a brand new car, while the First runner up bags a whopping sum of N1,000,000 and the 2nd runner up takes home N500,000.
During their stay in camp, the contestants have passed through a series of lectures ranging from leadership, skill acquisition, entrepreneurship training and physical activities to keep them fit and smart for the grand finale.
Ndoko Akwa Ibom’s core mandate is to produce an intellectually and physically robust, culturally savvy and internationally acceptable ambassador to market Akwa Ibom as a global brand. The event will also showcase an amazing revelation of unique talents with competence, ability and spectacular skills-sets that can stand the test of local and global challenges.
The competition will be stiff, devoid of sentiments, attachments or affiliations, as it expected to inculcate and build a delectable pedigree of social etiquette, civic and public decorum among contestants.
Admission into this event is FREE and guests are expected to sit by 6pm.
