“Rich people are always finding new friends, but the poor cannot keep the few they have.” Proverbs 19:4 ( GNT).
While it is true that love, faith and prayers can help a couple or friends stay together; lack of money is one factor that has created a lot of frictions in marriages, relationships, businesses and ministry partnerships. Pray seriously for financial provision that will help you to also show love and help your own people. So many have lost their spouses and friends to richer people. Even children of poor parents may prefer to spend their holidays in the homes of their rich friends. Poverty is not good. You don’t need to be poor because Jesus had already paid for your prosperity. It is not poverty that will take you to heaven.
Don’t be poor Lazarus after all your name is not Lazarus even if you answer Lazarus, the name does not mean poverty. Abraham was rich here on earth and when he died, he was still rich. Lazarus was seen in Abraham’s bosom. Do you know what that means? Be wise! Lazarus didn’t have anything here and there, he had nothing. Where he was seen was Abraham’s bosom not Lazarus palace As funny as this might sound understand that we need money to finance the work of God here on earth and that money must come from all of us. So rise up and do something positive.
CONFESSION
Oh Lord, I pray for abundant provisions to take good care of my family, your work and to help others who may be poor. As I serve you, please bring rich godly people to be a blessing to me. May poverty be far away from me and my loved ones.
