AKS: Mrs. Martha Emmanuel Splashes Gift Items on New Year Baby
………….In the early hours of 2019, the wife of the Akwa Ibom State Chief Executive, Her Excellency. Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel paid an unscheduled visit to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anua, Uyo where she ushered in the new year baby with love, prayer and gift items.
The male baby delivered at 12:1am by Mrs. Uwana Ukeme Bassey from Uruan Local Government Area through a caesarean operation, had weight of 3.5kg.
Mrs. Emmanuel in her motherly disposition also reached out to other nursing mothers in the maternity ward with special gifts and cash, praying that their babies would herald God’s special blessing upon their respective families.
Some nursing of mothers who couldn’t settle their bills were relieved by the governor’s wife who paid their outstanding bills.
