AKSG RELEASES TIME TABLE FOR THE SCHOOL ON RADIO PROGRAMME
The Time Table for the novel School on Radio Programme has been released by Akwa Ibom State Government for the interest of the general public.
The laudable initiative, which is the first by any state in Nigeria in this season of Covid-19 – is to be aired on the state owned Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC, Radio 90.5FM, for SS 3 and JS 3 students preparing for their final examinations.
According to the Commissioner of Information, Sir Charles Udoh, who made the table table publicin Uyo, the aim of the school on Radio Programme is to keep the students refreshed and alive to their studies while staying at home as formal schools remain shut due to the lockdown occasioned by the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic.
SS3 students will have the opportunity of taking lessons in English Language, Civic Education, Economics/Commerce and Government while those in JS3 will receive lessons in English Language, Basic Science, Civic Education, and Vocational studies.
Parents, Caregivers and Students are expected to reciprocate this kind gesture of government by showing great enthusiasm in tuning in for the lessons as scheduled.
