BREAKING NEWS: AKS GOV UDOM IS IN CONTROL OF SECURITY IN THE STATE -INFO BOSS, CHARLES UDOH

…………………..Governor Udom Emmanuel is putting all necessary modalities and apparatuses on ground to ensure total control of security in the state towards the safety of lives and property.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Charles Udoh made this known recently in his office in Uyo while interacting with information managers on the development processes and security network of the state.

Mr. Charles Udoh said, as a measure towards effective security in the state, Governor Emmanuel is cultivating a robust working relationship with security operatives and agencies in addition to intervening in the construction and equipping of paramilitary institutions and agencies as well as providing logistic supports to enhance security and beef up surveillance of the state.

He disclosed that, the Governor’s efforts and contributions which have greatly boosted the security of lives and property of the people have not gone unnoticed, stating that, the Commandant of Akwa Ibom State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Obiajulu Obiageli recently forwarded a letter of appreciation to Governor Udom Emmanuel for extending what he termed “dividends of good woks” to the agency.

According to the Information Boss, the Commandant of the Civil Defence Corps, specifically acknowledged the refurbishing by the state government of three operational vehicles of the agency which had been lying waste for years and hampering operations of the agency, stressing that, the act by Governor Udom Emmanuel has not only boosted effective security work of the agency but has given it the needed sense of belonging.

It should be recalled that, a couple of weeks ago, the media was riffed with the intervention projects of Governor Udom Emmanuel in the Nigeria Navy Military School, Ikot Ntuen while government is also extending facilities and logistic support the Naval Military Technical College  in Oruk Anam, all in a bid to beef security agency presence and operations in the State.
