All is now set for the grand presentation of Prof. Nseabasi Sunday Akpan brand new political leader of Mbiaso ward One Nsit Ibom Local Government Area and endorsement of His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel by the youths, women, stakeholders and elders of the ward in support of the lofty programmes and projects of the Governor in the state.
The event schedule for Thursday, May 3, 2018 is billed to attract who is who in Nsit Ibom politics who will converged at the Afaha Offiong serene compound of the political leader to show solidarity to the party and governor who is enjoying massive endorsement from nooks and crannies of the Akwa Ibom society.
A statement endorsed by the ward Chairman of PDP Mr. Otu Etuk and presented to news men hints that, ” it will be the formal presentation of the political leader of the ward a former Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Education, a University Don, Prof Nseabasi Sunday Akpan, who was carefully chosen and the official endorsement of the Governor for a second term of office ahead of 2019 elections”.
The ward stalwart boasted that, the event which will be as a party rally is expected to have in attendance very respectable sons and daughters of the ward and the L.G.A will be chaired by the political leader of the local government and Director General Divine Mandate, His Excellency Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, while the Speaker Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Rt Hon. (Barr) Onofiok Luke, Member Representing Etinan Federal Constituency, Elder Rt. Hon. Sam Ikon, Member Representing Nsit Ibom State Constituency, Rt. Hon. (Princess) as Special Guests of Honor.
The state party chairman Obong Paul Ekpo, Nsit Ibom Chapter Chairman, Deacon Rt. Hon. Nsikak Ikpe, Executive Chairman of Nsit Ibom, Hon. Eric Akpan, National Officer of the party, ( Obongawan) Annie Orok, state officer, Engr. Godwin George will be the Chief hosts, while state Organizing Secretary, Saturday Akpan, state Publicity Secretary, Comr. Ini Ememobong would be expected.
