ELECTION POSTPONEMENT: Let’s stay strong. Let’s stay Committed -Barr. Onofiok Luke
……………..Following the rescheduling of the election earlier fixed for today by the Independent National Electoral Commission, I wish to take this opportunity to thank our supporters for staying staunchly true to our course all these past weeks and months. I thank you for your faith in us, your steadfastness and and your spirited devotion to our campaigns. Indeed, your consistency and commitment has been priceless.
As the electoral body has in its wisdom shifted the election date from today to February 23rd, I want to urge you to remain unmoved. We must not lose faith in the system, but rather, every one of our supporters must be seen to be ready to do what is right to support the system to stand strong and overcome the challenges which we face at this time. Because we have been called according to the purpose of God, we must trust that all things, including this last minute postponement, are working together for our collective good.
Let us not despair. Let us stay strong, courageous and focused on the goal of giving to Etinan federal constituency a credible representative whose voice will never be compromised. I urge our supporters to go about their normal businesses, be law abiding, and wait patiently on INEC to perfect the process that will strengthen our democracy and deepen representative governance in our dear country.
