……………The provost college of Education Afaha Nsit, professor Mathew Ekpo has expressed satisfaction over the extend of developmental projects spread across the institution couple with the upgrading of facilities which has help in the accreditation of more courses, a situation he said has added value to the lives of his students.
Prof Ekpo stated this recently while playing host to governor ‘s delegations on the sensitization of students on the need to identify with the ongoing voters registration inorder to safe as a catalyst for more democracy dividend while voting for PDP and Governor Emmanuel in the 2019 elections. I am very excited to play host to you, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Her Excellency, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel all here represented. I feel honoured to welcome you and your dear wife, a woman with unfettered passion for Education, a trailblazer, a mother to the motherless and above all, virtuous woman to out great College.

Your visit to sensitized the students and by extension the College community on Registration of Voters and to empower some indigenous students is indeed a glaring display and Manifestation of your uncommon commitment to the development of Political Education and your uncommon interest in Teacher-Education. ”

The ongoing road network construction, renovations of our dilapidated buildings/infrastructure, staff recruitment and funding of the just concluded accreditation exercise really attest to your good governance and interest for the welfare of the College.”

In same vain Comrade Aquilla Otobong Akpan, SA to the governor on students matter said the essence of the program was for a group of students of social service volunteer scheme to organise school to school continuous voters registration awareness campaign inorder to fully participate in the upcoming 2019 elections and the re-election of Governor Emmanuel.
Earlier, Prof. Victor Inoka, commissioner for Education who represented the governor said his administration will continue to place high premium on students welfare and as such charged them to be fully part of the governance through their support and ensuring that PDP is retain in power come 2019. He equally noted that as the governor he will continue to place emphasis on education which he described as the bedrock of every society .
