***My people strongly want Gov Udom Emmanuel to do 8years

…………The Senator representing Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District, Obong Bassey Albert (OBA) has declared that he will continue to defend the interest of Uyo Senatorial District no matter whose ox is gored for the good of the people of the Senatorial District.
OBA made the assertion during an exclusive interview on Planet 101.1Fm on Saturday .Feel him ”No matter whose ox is gored l will continue to defend the interest of Uyo Senatorial District ”.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Gas stressed that he has no issues with Senator Godswill Akpabio or Senator Udoedeghe and that they are his leaders and l feel if Senator Udoedeghe has anything against me he should be frontal since we have access to each other.
On the issue of impunity in PDP, he noted that there is peace now in PDP given the outcome of the party primaries and that the world can also see what is happening in the other political party. His words ”I don’t want to apportion blame on anybody, because so so persons are no longer in the party that is why there is no impunity but I can tell you for free that our party PDP is enjoying so much peace ”
When asked why he is the only one speaking for Akwa Ibom, Senator OBA said each of the Senator has the interest of their Senatorial District but mine is defend the interest of my people not my interest. You see as a Leader you have to define the interest of your people and have your interest subsumed in the interest of your people my people strongly feel Gov Udom Emmanuel should should do 8 years ”
When asked whether the political strange bedfellows in APC trust themselves, he said that’s left for them but asked ”Can Udoedehe,Ita Enang, Nsima Ekere and Akpabio sit together to drink then excuse themselves to ease up and still come back to finish that drink? The answer can be imagined. Those guys don’t trust each other but I can sit with Gov Udom Emmanuel,leave my drink and still come back to finish that drink.
Senator OBA thanked the people of Uyo Senatorial District for their love and support in giving him the ticket to stand for re-election in the forthcoming election and added that it is the turn of Uyo senatorial District take the shot at the governorship election come 2023 which is not negotiable.
The PDP Chieftain noted that one of the reasons he is standing by Gov Udom Emmanuel is his strength of character because he has defended Senator Akpabio even in their private conversations.. He said when Gov Udom Emmanuel said the slogan of his campaign is ”Only God” he didn’t know Senator Akpabio will leave him but God wants to show the Governor that He makes leaders not men
On the positive things Senator Akpabio have said about Gov Udom Emmanuel as played during the radio interview he simply said Amen.
On the political direction for Uyo Senatorial District,, he said God knows the end from the beginning, since Uyo started the power sharing and gave it to Ikot Ekpene senatorial District before Eket senatorial District, Mind you anybody that betrays Uyo Senatorial District shall pay for it. I cannot be like Esau in the Bible that sold his birthright for a plate of porridge. Keep right and support Gov Udom Emmanuel in the forthcoming election.
