MARTHA UDOM: Witness Inaugurated New Exco Of Esop Mbong Iban
………………….The Wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor Mrs. Martha Emmanuel witness and celebrates with the ‘esop mbong Iban’ of the state and has called on them to imbibe the spirit of love and unity in all facets of their lives.
She made this charge at the inauguration of the new executive members of Esop Mbong Iban which held at the Ibom Hall, Uyo.
The First Lady expressed delight at the level of motherly virtues and decorum demonstrated by the Mbong Iban.
She charged the matriarchs to remember that they are role models to the younger generation especially the Girl-child and should live up to expectation.
She further stated that governance is a collective responsibility of all citizens, “hence our mothers let us join hands and build the state.”
