ONLY PRAYERS WILL SAVE OUR NATION – JENNIFER ABUBAKAR
……………The wife of the PDP Presidential candidate, Mrs. Jennifer Atiku Abubakar has called on the clergies to pray and intercede for the peace and prosperity of the country especially now that the general elections is around the corner.
Mrs. Abubakar spoke Thursday in Uyo while consultating with the Christian Association of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State chapter at the Governor’s office Annex.
She said Nigeria is in a critical state where only God can save her, stating that recent happenings in the country demand prayers and supplication for God to intervene.
Abubakar said all over the world, people are keeping their eyes on the country knowing how strategic she is Africa, and prayed that God would not allow the coming elections to be marred by violence.
Responding, the state chairman of CAN, Rev. Ndueso Ekwere appreciated Mrs. Abubakar for deeming it fit to consult with the Christian body in the state, stating that anything committed to God cannot see shame.
Special prayers were offered for the campaign team by the fathers of faith.
