President of the Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan was in Uyo, the capital of Akwa-Ibom state for the thanksgiving service in honour of Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, representing Akwa-Ibom North East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
Senator Lawan, who flew into Uyo to the warm reception of the Secetary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Dr Emmanuel Efiong Ekuwem and Senator Akon Eyakenyi at Victor Attah International Airport.
After attending the thanksgiving service, Lawan also commissioned some constituency projects embarked upon by the Senator, before returning to his base in Abuja.
