COOPA Congratulates Member on Appointment as Media Aide to Speaker of Akwa Ibom Assembly
…………The leadership and members of Coalition of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA) felicitates with a strong member of the body and Publisher of Ibom Telegraph Newspaper, Mr. Darlington Udobong, on his appointment as Special Assitant on Media and Communications to the Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey.
Mr. Darlington David Udobong, is an indigene of Ikpa Ikot Uneke, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area. He holds a BSc Degree in Mathematics from the University of Uyo, a Certificate in Public Relations, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Proficiency Certificate in Information Management. Darlington has several cognate working experience as Head Press Corps, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Media Assistant, Office of the Deputy Governor, Akwa Ibom State and Public Relations Officer, Olgette Projects Limited.
We see this appointment as a feather on Darlington’s golden cap, owing to the stock of his personality, his penchant for ethical journalism practice and his diligence in the discharge of his duties as a journalist.
We are sure he will bring his qualities to bare to ensure smooth running of media and communications in the office of the Speaker of the 7th Assembly of our dear state.
