PRESS RELEASE: RE: DEFECTION RUMOUR OF CEO/EDITOR-IN-CHIEF IBOMPLAZA NEWS BLOG
……….The attention of the CEO of one of the widely reached media platform Ibomplaza News Blog has been drawn to a social media post by one Enobong Ituen & Co, where it was reported that the CEO of Ibomplaza News Media Network is set to dump the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) to the opposition party the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
Obviously, since Mr. Bassey Samuel Jnr. One of the foundation members of PDP Mbiaso Ward 1, in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area since 1999 till date, a loyal party faithful and Uyo Senatorial District Coordinator of PDP Fan Club, Akwa Ibom State Chapter took the decision to stand with Mr. Right, Integrity, His Excellency, Gov. Udom Emmanuel, the executive governor of Akwa Ibom state for re-election in 2019. The unrepentant, clueless and gullible APC members in the state is bent with unwarranted attacks by its agent in the state who are viewing with fascination the activities of showcasing the superior performance of the governor to the world as an act of working against the plan of the Warsaw saw Warsaw.
Unfortunately, the opposition agent needs to note that, Mr. Samuel has been appointed recently by the governor into Divine Mandate Campaign Council as member monitoring and evaluation committee as such he can not betrayed the confidence repose on him by the campaign council towards ensuring the return of the governor to the hilltop mansion come 2019.
Ordinarily, the CEO of Ibomplaza News Blog would have ignored the said defection rumors, widely circulated on the social media, but for the purpose of clarity, the record need to be set straight.
The story that was posted on social media fora, is completely falsehood, mischievous, fake news, misleading, with no iota of truth in it and should be disregarded by all reasonable minds, as it is nothing but a blackmail, which holds no water.
