BREAKING NEWS: AKWA IBOM MONTHLY GENERAL SANITATION HOLDS TOMORROW
The State Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources has announced that the monthly general sanitation will hold tomorrow, Saturday, 29th July, 2017 across the 31 local government areas in state.
In a statement issued by the SA on Media to the Environment Commissioner, Mr. Ubong Asanga, said that there shall be complete restriction of movements within the state between the hours of 7 to 10 am tomorrow.
The release further stated that there shall be enforcement officers throughout the period of the exercise and anyone caught going contrary shall be prosecuted at the sanitation court.
The Commissioner’s spokesman urged citizens and visitors to the state to adhere strictly to the public notice in order to keep Akwa Ibom clean and green.
