…………………….The National Association of Ukanafun Student Worldwide (NAUS WORLDWIDE) led by her President, Comrade Abasiono Idiong has endorsed Governor Udom Emmanuel for a second term in office. This was made during a courtesy visit by the Students Body to Evangelist Emem Etokabasi Udom, Personal Assistant to Governor on Protocol.
The NAUS WORLDWIDE through her President expressed Satisfaction over the performance of our Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel ,adding that the biggest of it all has been the reawakening of the consciousness, drive, and push of every son and daughter of the soil through the Dakkada Initiative.
He said: “Having seen the need for a mind-set change and attitudinal rebirth of Akwa Ibom People, which gave birth to the Dakkada Initiative, a movement to revealing the people from underachievement by inspiring self-belief, confidence and courage to utilize skills to maximize results. Dakkada charges us to see beyond what others see, human and intellectual. It also inspires us to rise to the faith that as a people, we can move beyond ethnicity, biases, religion and gender. Today Dakkada initiative efforts has turn many Akwa Ibom youths to become Entrepreneurs at variuos levels of Businesses.
In the area of industrialization, Akwa Ibom State has been rated by the National Bureau of Statistics as attracting the highest number of Foreign Direct Investments after Lagos. This Giant Strides has attracted not a few industries to the state. Tops are the syringe manufacturing company, the largest in Africa, the electric metering factory, the resuscitated peacork paints, the flour mill, pencil and toothpick factory. You done this Your Excellency.
In the area of roads Dualizatons and Constructions, you have done over 1204.036km of roads, some are Completed while some are On-going process in the entire state.
You have Boost the levels of Agricultural system in the state and have provided many farmers with loans to venture in their farming work as well as Money Grants.
Over one million five hundred students in the state are purely beneficiaries of the free and compulsory Education which is On-going in the state for the indigenes and noon indigenes of our state.
You have done so much in the area of sending our brothers and sisters to go study out the country for a better akwa ibom tomorrow. Not to mention the Electricity Power sector, you have build Sub-power stations to boost and enhance the power supply and stability in the state which we can now enjoy light up to 12 hours in a day.
On the KEY FOCUS in Job Creation, Poverty Alleviation, Wealth Creation, Economic & Political Inclusion and Infrastrucral Consolidatioin & Expansion, you have a well documented plans for the for people of Akwa Ibom.
”We the entire Student Body of Ukanafun Students Worldwide, having seen beyond the Performances and satisfied with Development Strides of our dear Governor’s led Administration, we hereby call him to lead Us again in office through 2023 and beyond”.
He added: “It can be recalled that Evang. Emem Udom has sponsored Voter’s Card Enlightenment Registration Programme through the NAUS WORLDWIDE BODY and lot of other Programmers’ in Ukanafun . Today we are here to honour you as THE PILLAR OF UKANAFUN STUDENTS WORLDWIDE for always standing with Us in all aspect and want you to continue to do more as posterity will regards you.
Also speaking is the National Association of Ukanafun Student Worldwide Vice President, Ms Emem Saturday Umoren, Expressed gratitude for the active performance of the Senator Representing Akwa Ibom North-West, (Ikot Ekpene) Senatorial District, the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio and Passed Vote of confidence on him while pledging the body’s to always give maximum support to his 2019 reelection bid.
Responding, the Personal Assistant to Governor on protocol, Evang. Emem Udom, thanks the national Association of Ukanafun Student Worldwide body for Endorsing his Boss, Gov. Emmanuel for a second term in office and for finding him fit to be honoured .
Evang. Emem while advising the students’ body, charged them to always be steadfast in their studies. ”I want you people to Stand by the truth, maintain peace, unity and always love one another as brothers sisters, shun violence and social vices, respect rules and laws of Government. May peace and love be restored back to our land of birth”, he said.
